An Ode to LSU

As Mike the Tiger strolls in his cage
The LSU Tigers take their big stage
Drinking all day until the light of the moon
"Hey, it's time to fill the piss balloons."
As they head to their seats, the excitement grows
Their girlfriends frown as they pick their nose
The band marches out, to thunderous applause
Completely ignoring their team's big flaws
All of their fans were hoping and wishing
Yet, to their disdain, the defense is missing
Their team falls behind, balloons start to fly
Even Coach Kelly has a tear in his eye
Their big moment came and then it went
All of their piss balloons have already been spent
They try to drown their sorrows in Jim Beam
Then listen to T-Bob in the radio scream

In Baton Rouge, where the cypress grow,
A crowd of fans, with reputation low,
LSU Tigers, proud and bold,
But their behavior, often grows old.
Tailgating trash, and beer cans galore,
Littering the grounds, and then some more,
Cursing and yelling, with fingers raised,
Their sportsmanship, often amaze.
Their rivals' signs, with vulgar display,
Their own classlessness, on full parade,
From Tiger Stadium to the Bayou's shore,
Their trashy behavior, forever in store.
But still they cheer, with passionate roar,
For purple and gold, forever more,
Through wins and losses, they'll always stand,
LSU Tigers, with a trashy hand.

LSU fans' aroma, that never ends.
From tailgate grills to stadium seats,
The smell of corn dogs, does repeat,
A pungent cloud, that hangs in air,
A signature scent, beyond compare.
Baton Rouge breezes, carry the smell,
Of sizzling hot dogs, and stories to tell,
Of fans who feast, on crunchy delight,
And wear the fragrance, through day and night.
Purple and gold, the colors shine,
But corn dog scent, is truly divine,
LSU nation's essence, wild and free,
A flavorful spirit, for all to see.
So if you visit, Tiger land,
Prepare your nose, for corn dog stand,
For in the air, a tasty treat,
LSU fans' scent, can't be beat!
