Love you coach and thank you for what you do. It's far from an easy job and you have never been afraid to tackle it head on. Best to your family for their sacrifice.

You mean to tell me the first part of his day is NOT spent reading our rants

I'm not buying that.

Fans let their emotions override logic. Kirby is a great coach, and he is not to blame for poor player behavior. Just like Mark Richt, Kirby recruits from the same pool of athletes using the same methods and resources as our rivals. Kirby is not weak on evaluation or discipline relative to everyone else, and neither was Richt.

If you asked in private, I'm sure they'd both tell you that these problems were/are just as prevalent at other programs around the southeast. The difference in perception is due to differences in ability/willingness to keep offenders out of the jails, courts and media. Money and influence can do that if so inclined; it happens in every facet of society.

I personally don't care how Georgia operates their program; it won't change our cultural decline one way or the other. But if they unilaterally impose tougher enforcement standards then fans should acknowledge that it means a tougher path to titles.

Was listening to Barstool's Unnecessary Roughness last night and they were blasting UGA. BFW went so far as to suggest Kirby should be fired for all the behavioral issues and all the hosts think he's lost control of the players.

Absurd!

There are bad apples everywhere. And I don't see a high number of speeding tickets as some indication of poor locker room control. Drive-by media out in full force.

Every major school recruits our guys. Kirby has outside speakers come and address Domestic Violence and Car related issues. We supposedly fine them or run them.

I think part of it is how Athens goes about law enforcement. Some smaller towns like Oxford or Auburn can maybe offer discretion while bigger towns like Atlanta, Nashville, Baton Rouge just have bigger things to worry about.

Either way, shame on those who judge us while every major school has had players do similar or worse.

Not at all saying it right, it is just the way it is. Baby momma now doesn't have a gravy train until some other school takes him.....

Absolutely! It is a point of pride with the ACCPD that UGA athletes don't get preferential treatment. Nothing gets swept under the rug.

At best the players don’t think there will be consequences for their actions. Whether or not that falls on Kirby is a different conversation.
