“He’s a young man”? Really? Malachi Moore is a Sr & captain.

Tired of sports radio folk trying to apologize for this epic on field meltdown. Heard the same thing over and over as if they were reading from some script.

Throwing his mouth piece, acting unhinged, intentionally kicking the ball from the ref like a toddler …
Downplaying his behavior isn’t a good look. Probably should be suspended for a quarter, or half.

You're talking about a fanbase that commits sexual assault to celebrate a victory.

This is tame by their standards.

He should have been kicked out of the game at that point, but I guess the refs were fine being shown up by an Alabama player.
Everything about it was as lame and trashy as you can get.

A Judge let Cam Robinson walk over gun charges cause quote “he didn’t have AC, and was out there sweating in the hot sun during 2 a days”

If we as a society are gonna reward these individuals with room temp IQ’s by paying them, on.top of offering them a multi million dollar education, then they have to be held accountable just like the rest of the grown ups.

Yea that whole "he's just a young man, he don't mean no harm, he'll learn" ship sailed with them getting millions of dollars.

Rolando McClain pushed an official in the 2009 Virginia Tech game. He was a true junior and a captain. He wasn't ejected and Saban did not suspend him for his actions, but handled it internally. Let's cool it with the outrage mob.

Downvote me all you want, but facts don't care about feelings.

Are you defending thuggish behavior with someone else's thuggish behavior?

And not even someone from another team, but from the same team that's being criticized now?

Damn 87, I thought you may be less gump than the others, but alas you prove me wrong

Because there was a need for bodies to fight a war. Not excusing this kid, but he’s still a kid that’s immature.

This type of behavior seems like a continuing issue. The "handling it internally" never really nipped it in the bud, did it?

It wouldn't have happened under Saban, the meltdown or the loss.

We won the national championship that season and McClain was a consensus 1st Team All-American and Dick Butkus Award winner. I'd say it worked out pretty well for us.

The loss? No. The meltdown? We had several player meltdowns that were egregious throughout Saban's tenure. The most famous of which being McClain's meltdown just before halftime of the 2009 Virginia Tech game.
