Milton looks extremely dangerous! I’ve experienced terrible storms in NOLA and Houma since 1965 but this one concerns me a lot.

Except this time Kamala and her grandfather boss have used up all FEMA funds housing, feeding, giving money to and registering illegals to vote. I'm not kidding, FEMA was tapped out before Helene hit, there won't be anything for this one either.

Sounds like we need to divert some of the billions we are sending to fund proxy wars across the globe back home to the people who need real disaster relief.

That as well, but draining FEMA funds simply because they intentionally left our border open is inexcusable.

I'm at least happy for NC and the other mid-Atl states that the path has it going out to sea eventually. but yeah, pray for Florida.

edit- in hindsight I probably shouldn't share the details. But lets just say some companies are making people work full hours Tuesday and decided this back when hurricane arrival was still expected Wednesday morning. Sucks.

Capital One the bank? WTH? That doesn’t seem like essential personnel. I would be calling in sick. Screw them. Your safety is more important than their profits.

My stubborn arse 82 year old uncle won't move. Offered to come get him, my oldest tried to get him to go South to Miami with them.

He's staying put, and it's frustrating as hell to be honest.

I decided to stay home, but the eye will land a good deal south of me.

To be 100% honest, I'm quite frankly annoyed with all my relatives from other places trying to tell me to leave because of what they see in the media and all the crazy hype.

I say eye, but it's not even well defined now.

His rationale is that he's on the East Coast. But, he lives in Palm Bay South of Melbourne. Thinks it will be a nonfactor, but every track is headed right at him for sustained 50-70 mph winds, much higher gusts and a shite storm of rain.

The amont of Republican elected officials who have come out recently to say FEMA has money & is actively helping hurricane vicitims is in the double digits.

I hope some of you realize soon that it is possible to be tethered to reality while still not liking Biden & Harris.

As long as he isn't in a mobile, he'll probably be fine. And even then not a big deal. Those are just tropical storm winds.

I think on the east coast you want to be south of the eye.

Well, Palm Bay is on the storm eye track. His in home nurses have departed for the storm.

Love the man dearly, have been trying to get him to leave FL and move in with us for years.

We endured multiple storms when I was in Miami. This just feels different, but maybe I've been watching too much news and am overly concerned.

Thoughts and prayers for all, as I know there are equally as stubborn people on the West Coast, as well.

My daughter is staying in an area between Daytona and Ocala. Hoping that thing makes a strong eastern shift like they expect. She’s probably annoyed with her relatives too.

Better safe than sorry. I ended up staying, but I've been packed and ready to evacuate since Monday.
