Calling Saban equal to Mark Richt seems like a bad idea.

Uga was 10-3 in 2015. They weren't a shitty team.

Kirby also beat Nicholls St by two
Got blown out by Ole Miss
Lost to tenner
And to GaTech.

Nobody was calling for Kirby's head.

Your comparison isn’t even relevant. Imagine taking over the most talented roster in college football and shitting on the field on national television. Imagine not being able to adjust at halftime. Get this shite outta here

So Kirby's Uga team in 2016 was less talented than Vandy.

STFU.

This is where you fricked up. BAMA doesn't have the most talented defense. Time to wake up to reality.

Kirby received a good chunk of flak in 2016 for his atrocious start

Kirby also did not start with one of the most talented rosters in the history of the sport, coming off an overtime playoff loss and running the gauntlet in the SECCG

That being Deboers head isn’t the issue. It’s the fact that Womack looks like an incredibly dud hire in three straight games. Lest we forget USF missing multiple wide open deep routes and putting up 5+ YPC on us

Wommack is to DeBoer as Applewhite was to Saban.

Neither did DeBoer. The defense has been shitty at BAMA for fricking years.
Kirby inherited a 10 win team. Kirby also grew up in the SEC. Coached in the SEC. Played in the SEC. frick that.
DeBoer had coached against exactly two SEC teams before the Vandy game.
Ole Miss in 2019 as OC at Indiana.
2024 UGa.

I agree that Wommack is in over his head, but wanting to throw out DeBoer for hiring him is fricking retarded. Let him clean it up.

I’m sorry, when was the defense so bad it gave up 400 yards and 33 points to Vanderbilt?

It has never been this bad. Even with Golding

I agree DeBoer is fine, but Wommack needs to be cycled at year end. If not mid season based on the fact we have an NFL DC as an analyst that can probably run an average defense compared to whatever we’re running now. A la Tosh Lupoi

Every recent loss is the worst.
This loss isn't worse than to ULM. That's almost as bad as losing to an FCS team. IDGAF how bad the roster was.

ULM wasn’t as bad. Bama was 6-4 and had lost two in a row. That team wasn’t #1 in the country. Getting your shite kicked by Vandy when you’re a 3 TD favor as the #1 team is much, much worse.

Mark Richt was a lot of things, but bad recruiter was not one. His teams were often right there with ours and it would be a lie to claim Kirby inherited a bare roster.

Given the difference between then and now, he likely didn't even have to do much to keep even the biggest stars on the team. Transferring was a much different animal then.

You have actually made yourself look more like an idiot every time you respond. Kirby inherited a 10 win team? What did Deboer inherit? 16 straight top 3 recruiting classes. The loser of a college football playoff game. The returning SEC champion. I don’t care what the defense has or has not been doing. On paper we have the most talent rich roster in cfb. If you are going to say that doesn’t matter, then recruiting star power doesn’t matter. You and I both know that’s not the case. Deboer inherited a gold mine and was able to do what no other coach since 1940 was able to do. Lose to vandy. It’s on him. When you are the leader, the failures fall on you. Does he not have the balls to adjust Womack and the defense at half? Get the frick out of here you goober. Deboer was lost on the sideline and that 4th quarter interview he knew he was in over his head. Go watch the rerun of Malachi refusing to come out. Womack at midfield begging him to and Deboer standing there not saying shite. What a pussy. Players know it and it’s why Moore did what he did.

ULM did not have the talent disparity that Vanderbilt had yesterday
