Athens is filled with the most obnoxious a-hole fans in the SEC. No thanks.
Only fanbase to yell F-bombs to my whole family, with elementary age kids, just walking down the sidewalk. Low class shitbags.

Been once in a win. Was a miserable experience only compared to going to Oxford Mississippi both completely sore losers that act like idiot.

Been to Athens for games twice. Auburn won both times. Don't need to ever go back.

UGA fans used to be nice southern people, then it got filled up with Ohio transplants from ATL and the nice country fans kids all turned out to be little Bubba Sparx-es

Last time I went to a game in Athens was the DSOR 2003. Obnoxious fans barking at us as we were walking to the stadium. Never again.
Have only been to Athens once since (non-football related) and that was December 2023. Made sure to remove all of the Auburn paraphernalia from my car lest it get keyed, tires slashed, etc.. Trashy fans.

First game in Athens I’ve missed in 8 years. Couldn’t bring myself to going. Had a uga buddy offer me a free ticket and turned it down.
