make every SEC official EMT/Paramedic certified and when they flop the officials look then if its bad call in the trainers, if deemed a flop toss the flag, you can feel a cramp by palpating it...ive seen too many times players fall and grab the calf and then have the trainers work the quad to make it look real. Make a fake injury loss of a timeout 15 yards and loss of down...1 warning per team not player but per team then its ejections for the player

Make a flopper sit out for ten minutes. I guess that means make anyone who goes down sit out ten minutes or five minutes but a minimum of five or ten plays. Really injured people will sit out for that long anyway. Slightly injured guys will get up quicker.

Anytime you are telling someone they are or aren’t hurt opens you up to being liable.

Simple fix is. Said player sits out until the next possession.

Will still be some, but the player is out for a series.

Implement that and add to it as you see results.

All you have to do is make them sit the remainder of the current drive.

“Player safety” and all, right?

If injured you must sit out a minimum of 4 snaps. Change of possession does not erase anything. Change of possession is 1 snap.

This will end 98% of the bullshite.

Starting to get some creative solutions. Floppers have to sit out plays and lots of them. A coach doesn't want to lose a flopper so there must be a disincentive to flop. But flops can't be determined in real time. So the solution is to sit a player for multiple plays. The solution up there to sit out the remainder of a series is okay. Will require another official sitting at a monitor reviewing each downed player "injury". Not sure how to handle a player who got a stinger and can get up and play three plays later??

I like that approach.

Anyone hurt shouldn’t be back in on the next play. At the very least make it the remainder of the current quarter and the next.

Get rid of the continuous running 40-second clock implemented in college football in 2008. Then the defense can mix and match according to the down and situation.

Offenses will once again have to earn it instead of using fatigue and confusion as a replacement for talent. Beep beep.

Kiffen would be pulling kids from the student section to play at that point

Must go to dressing room and be evaluated by team physician or head trainer if physician not on field.

The refs should use replay upon a tip from HQ, not looking for injury, but looking for flopping that is coached.

Often you will see a player intending on staying in the game but being instructed to get down. At that point you can give the team a warning over apparent coached flopping. After that, 15 yard personal fouls to be endorced.

*If a player cannot make it off the field and the coach instructs the player to get down that is clean.*

Only one team really does it and they whine and complain when the defense does it to their offense

If a player goes down to the point they have to stop the game that player is out for 10 plays on the side of the ball that they were injured on

If an injury timeout is taken, the player has to sit out for the rest of the series for evaluation.

I think that's a little farfetched. It doesn't take that long for muscle cramps to go away. If Kiffin wasn't a spinelines, limp-wristed daiquiri boy this wouldn't even be an issue.

Lose eligibility for the possession. Problem solved.

These type of ideas sound good to me, but I think teams would counter by appointing a designated flopper position where they are comfortably 2-deep.

Is this why Kiffin has so many kids on the injury list for Ole Miss?

And not surprised to see Matt Jones on here this week after his devastating injury last Saturday...
