Kirby seems to shut Auburn completely down sans one game. I'll be shocked if Auburn scores more than 14 on Saturday.

Auburn is the best ever at pulling one out of their wazoo when you least expect it. I bet it's a close game (jmho).

After last Saturday night at Bryant-Denny UGA will come out with their hair on fire and take no prisoners. If Auburn scores a touchdown it will be on a fluke play. UGA will score lots.

Georgia fans are still mad at me that I rooted for Bama against Georgia in the postseasons. You are still 1980 in my book.

They only do that voodoo against Bama. The only time Auburn has beaten us as an underdog in the last 20 years was 2017 when we were 2.5 pt favorites

That voodoo was a Gus thing when the stars magically aligned every 4th year when Gus finally got all the key cog pieces for his offensive machine seasoned up. Only problem is Gus didnt give a shite about Georgia.

Tuberville wasn't too bad either. I lost some bucks on your '07 game in the Swamp.

Eh, that kind of stuff is overrated. They will beat us badly because they are just that more talented (and better-coached).

The bigger danger for the barn is turnovers. Freeze runs a ton of RPO and that read-and-react stuff is just waiting on the defense to declare and the QB picks his option.
SEC defenses and Kirby in particular are masters at disguising what their intentions are from presnap to postsnap. That's what Thorne is saying even on the pick-six. Thorne said, 10 times out of 10 times he would have done the same thing based on the presnap read. The problem was Venables changed the defense post-snap. Bo Wallace has said a number of times and the stats prove it, a Hugh Freeze offense turns the ball over.
Kirby Smart can disguise his defenses with the best of them. He's a freakin savant at giving different looks postsnap. That's why I think it could get ugly, early, in Athens.

Bama fans pulling hard for Auburn in this one.

I still argue that this doesn't occur on the final drive of the previous game, and the Kick 6 never happens.
After losing to Georgia, a demoralized Auburn gets down 21–7 to Alabama in the first quarter, and it's over.
But y'all had to frick it up, diddlers.

I mean, only Vanderbilt has lost more games in football this decade in the SEC than Auburn.
They are an absolute dogshit, bottom-of-the-barrel program.
