A college offense last year had this type of performance out of its 3 top rookies through 4 weeks of the NFL season.

Player A: 224 AVG/game passing, 107 QBR, 55 yds rushing per game, 6 TDs

Player B: 35 receptions, 96 yds per game receiving, 3 TDs

Player C: 275 yards receiving, 69/game, 2 TDs

Incoming LSU fans “But we own you! Sunbelt Billy.”

That's why they were the best offense last year. Also none of them play defense.

LSU having the Heisman winner and finishing 3rd in their own division was insane

Since this is a Florida thread I feel like it's appropriate to post that Florida did the exact same thing in 2007, just with 1 more loss.

And also, Jayden's 2023 numbers were better than Tebow's 2007 numbers.

Haha!

And I might add that picking on LSU for Kelly is not much of a burn.

Lots of us don’t like him or think he’s that good.

I think A&M did this in 2012 as well as 2007 Florida.

Yeah. And football has not changed at all in the last 17 years either.

The problem for LSU is despite making their DC the highest paid assistant in college football, LSU’s defense is still very poor, ranking 14th in the SEC currently. But their scoring offense has slipped to 8th place.

Why use scoring offense and total defense?

Would make more sense to use one or the other.

No shite.

The point is your coach had a generational offense, he had a defense full of 5 star players to go along with it and couldn't even cobble together a remotely good defense from all that.

Kelly also completed failed to play complimentary football. He didn't even need a remotely good defense he just needed to use his offense to shelter the D some and keep them off the field.

He's a bad coach.

It’s the way this place works.
No intellectual honesty in most of the posters.

A retard always believes he's right in his own mind.

The "defense full of 5 stars" take is especially laughable.

Because they are side by side in the PDF file the SEC provides stats so it is easier to compare side by side.

LSU is ranked 13th in scoring defense. Feel free to use that if you want. They are 8th in scoring offense and 13th in scoring defense. Here you go Tiger.

I've got a friend who legit believes all Brian Kelly needs is one more recruiting class and LSU will be as good as Alabama. No shite, he believes that.

Al fans teaming up with Mo now. Interesting.

Maybe pick a Mo fan with half a brain though. She is your version of Jamal Murray.
