Freeze and Thorne did fine most of the game.
Examine the FG kicking and the long pass we gave up while I am gone.

I'll wait to see what happens in the portal after this putrid season before I make any comments on "the future". At some point, you have to show the ability to do something on the field. Freeze isn't.

Mebbe … but the road to the SEC Championship starts and ends with the line of scrimmage. This has been historically true, and it is no different today.
Cam Ward avoided Auburn for the same reason Bo Nix left …. our OL has been in the bottom 25% of the conference for several years running. (Thanks Malzahn, thanks Harsin … /sarcasm). Did y’all notice how gassed they were in the 4th quarter? … no depth.
Our OL is currently no better than 15th out of 16 teams in the conference.
Good QB talent isn’t coming to Auburn until this is addressed. Sorry, but good QB talent wants to play behind a decent OL …. to showcase their skills …. unless their skill is running for their life. NIL $ is only a part of the recruiting deficiency.
Our DL decline has been much more recent, but it needs talent and depth too. Good DBs love playing behind a solid D-front.
Is Freeze properly addressing this issue, …. in a conference where LoS rules supreme? I dunno yet. I see him trying, and I know that these units take time to gel and develop ….. and I’m afraid Auburn will continue to be an also-ran until we can get these fundamental items addressed.
OU’s defensive line depth was evident in the 4th quarter, … as was Auburn’s lack of OL depth .
