Seriously. CLK doesn’t need to go to Florida, we aren’t going to become worms and be in the fetal position.

We lost a game. Yes, offensively we played poorly. But plenty of one-loss teams played for championships in the BCS era… much less a 12 team playoff.

No, we cannot play like we did today… but the talent is clearly there on both sides of the ball. We must do better, but being fragile and hyperbolic after one fricking loss is the shite that’s embarrassing. If we don’t have the wherewithal to take it on the chin and rebound, we weren’t destined for a championship anyway

We lost our playoff chance today. We lost to a dogshit team that we were favored to win over by 17 points today. We lost our season today.

All the boosters that ponied up millions just lost their ROI today.

The teams that had 1 loss that played for a championship lost to good teams. We lost to a shite team today.

No no no! This loss was a cataclysmic event from which Oxford, the university and the football program will never recover.

To have a realistic shot at the playoffs, at this point, we have to win out. Nothing about this team makes me confident in winning out. Getting in at 10-2 with our "weak" schedule will take some luck outside our control.

And let's be honest, this team this year was built (with a lot of $) to be playoff run or bust.

Hamzoo is really the only person melting. The rest of us have been here before. Sadly.

Maybe I'm the only realist here that sees we suck and will be enjoying Jacksonville Florida in about 3 months.

Ok, so let me get this straight. The seasons we’ve gone 10-2 and/or finished in the top 12 lately would have absolutely gotten us in a playoff. Had a 12 team playoff existed. But now with that very much still a possibility it is in no way good enough? Interesting. Very interesting. Some of you guys need to put down the Old Charter.

Yea loss sucks but season isnt over. Try to go 11-1 or 10-2 and see what happens. Anything worse than 10-2 is a bust though.

With NIL, getting older, having kids; its hard for me to get crushed like i used to after a loss like this. Disappointing day though

We. Lost. To. fricking. Kentucky.

At home as a 17 point favorite.

This was supposed to be one of our easier SEC wins and we shite the bed. Nothing today convinced me that we will be able to beat teams like Georgia or LSU. We aren't going 10-2 this year. If we lose next weekend to South Carolina we will be lucky to win 6 games this year.

Damn, dude, you need to find another team to follow. It’s just the best thing for your health.

I'm doing great. I have already accepted that our season is over. I worry about those of you that still have hope.

Five games in,,.. you just proved my point. Not that it matters what we think or feel, but if the team gave up after five games at 4-1, boy they’d be fricked.

And one more thing (haha), I have to guess just like me you’ve been waiting months on this season to start and you watch your Rebels lose one game and all of of sudden you are done and the sky is falling. Damn. That’s just pitiful.

Agree. Win out (even lose to UGA) and we are still in it.

Honestly yall have not lost your playoff chances at all in fact the 2003 and 2007 national title LSU teams had TERRIBLE losses, and they didn’t even have a 12 team playoff.

With that said Kiffin needs to grab the playbook back because that secondary will be shown the 50 states a couple of times if Kentucky can move the ball. Rebs need to score 35+ every game plain and simple. What’s important is Kiffin earns his pay and gets Ole Miss ready for a hornets nest in Columbia. Their defense has a lot of pro talent.

Georgia beat Kentucky by 1.

They aren’t a terrible team.
They’ll probably go 8-4 or 9-3
