Long-Term OU Football is in Big Trouble

I’ve rejected the comparisons to Nebraska, solely because I thought OU could always recruit because of vicinity to Texas.
But, there is absolutely nothing to do here. I can’t imagine a more boring area for a SEC school to be located. Norman is not a college town, it is basically a boring, somewhat run down suburb of OKC.
With NIL , all the big recruits are going to go to the other SEC schools, all of which have better campuses in better areas.
Hate saying this, but it’s true. Downtown OKC is very nice though.

So you’re saying absence of poop swastikas in bathrooms is your bar for boring

It'll be interesting to see how this plays out in the NIL era. In 2000, if you get a McDonald's bag filled with $50K in Norman, OK, you're pretty happy. And there's not much to do except football and chasing trim.
But today, what good is having a million bucks in bumfrick Oklahoma?

Luther burden, Cayden green and Williams nwaneri in last couple years

Those 3 just to lowly Mizzou

Yeah......ima disagree. I thought the OU campus in Norman was pretty nice......and i hate OU.

So lemme guess, Columbia will be the new Mecca of CFB? I've been to Columbia, It's just as boring if not moreso than Norman. Focus on your shite Mizzery, you've got a lot more to prove than OU. Bitches.

Nah, they will still pull recruits from DFW and northeast Texas as well. Remember, bloU as a school only exists to support the football team, not the other way round.

OU might have some short term adjustment issues, looks like their OL room wasn't ready for the move due to various factors of transfers, graduations, and injuries. THAT and DL are the 2 most critical rooms for a SEC program.
But it is still OU, they won't accept mediocrity..and will get it done. With or without Brent Venables.
Idk if they can get to UGA or BAMA staying power status...but more like LSU, TENN, FLA...a program capable of winning or competing for a title every so often. They will get it worked out.

Bitches?...nobody talks like that. We're from The Show Me State, do something!

First things first.
Your field is arse. Fix that and you won't have so many injuries.

Sanity.

OU is about 3/4 through a transition period which saw the old coach taking our best offensive talent and the overall roster was beyond thin. Sucks that we began a rebuilding process right before the move, but we'll be fine.

My biggest fear is we'll end up like Missouri. Thank God there's already a Missouri in this league.

UNLV’s starting quarterback just quit and entered the portal in the middle of the season
The only major program in the NYC area is historically god awful
Tuscaloosa isn’t exactly the nightlife capital of the world.
‘Things to do’ doesn’t make a fricking shite. They’re not tourists.
You can go to practice and be a college student at a large university. That’s what you do

Sorry you didn't do Norman right. I have to assume you didn't attend Mizzou. We've been to Columbia several times for HS swim nationals and that place is the epitome of boring. Literally, the best thing to do there is leave.
Imagine being a t-shirt Mizzou fan

This gets a C-. Please revisit your SEC history book and try again.
