Why is the narrative that Texas has an easy schedule?

It should be that everyone else has an easy schedule for not playing Texas.
Look at our team. You think we're afraid of playing the Ole Misses and Tennessees of the world?
We can't wait to play Georgia to whoop the dog piss outta em and we'd love to have Bama on the schedule.
Playing no good teams with a team as good as ours is like owning a Lamborghini and driving the speed limit.

Mack Brown is one of the best coaches of all time and a class act on all levels.
It's a shame you chose his name as your moniker.

The schedule is weak in a historical sense, compared to the traditional SEC west schedules. I think all the teams from the west have a legitimate complaint. However, I would argue the old SEC east conference schedule was historically weak as well compared to the SEC west.

Its a weak SEC schedule but a decent one overall and that is a fact.

I don't know that UTrans has an "easy" schedule but it is definitely not one of the toughest ones out there.

It’s not UTs fault. Anyone with Florida and state on their schedule are getting an extra bye week basically

100%. I don't know how Georgia fans have the the gall to brag aboutmUh bAck 2 bAcK after playing 2 games a year.
At least with the expanded playoffs we'll have beaten 3 or 4 average teams.

Easy schedule or not, back to back says it all. Doesn't matter what your schedule was if you are National Champion

Which bowl did Texas play in 2021?
Oh, that's right. 5-7.
