Yeah those 2 bad passing plays and the punt sealed the loss...KY out played UGA except for the TD drive but when they could of attempted 1 play before the half throwing into the EZ they opted to kick with 9 seconds left...
Stoops coached them up for 57minutes and then lost his nerve at the 3 minute mark.
He knew he wouldnt get the ball back so what was his thinking?

Your correct.Stoops quit. Since the rule change the game clock must be handled much differently.

Yeah, can't believe he punted there...
Especially after he saw the way Georgia moved the ball on offense better in the 4th. Slim chance to stop Georgia on that last drive.. Should've never punted.

It was an inexplicable decision. You're Kentucky and you have eight yards to gain for a first down and a potential upset over the top ranked team in the land. Instead of risking it all with limited time remaining, you punt and play field position. This is why Kentucky will always be Kentucky.

Kentucky played a heckuva game. Hats off to them. They played excellent defense, their RB ran like his hair was on fire. They just got up for the game and played very, very well.

Not really. He’s at mid field. BVG isn’t lights out passing and a run play for 8 yards is low percentage. They don’t make it and give it back to UGA at the 50.
Punt UGA into poor field position since UKs defense is having its way w Georgia’s run game and Beck isn’t doing any better than BVG.
Get the ball back w less than 2 mins left and move it 20 yards to get their lights out kicker in position to hit a 50 yard field goal for the win.
It was the right call and would have worked if Beck doesn’t hit his only downfield pass of the game a couple plays later. Then Delp fumbles forward for a fist down later in the drive to take a little ore time off the clock.

It was not the right call by any metric imaginable. The game was over as soon as his little conservative mind made the decision. Kentucky is not going to beat Georgia by playing the percentages.

Thats incorrect. That decision didnt lose them the game. Trying to force a passing game when it was unreliable...while the running game was working lost the game.
If Kentucky somehow hits another field goal, Georgia still has time to go downfield and retake lead
