I can’t tell you how disappointing it is to wait all summer for football, invest in the program, have 10 starters return on defense, most talent we’ve ever had at receiver, promised our Georgia transfer QB was great and then have it all wrecked by an offensive line that gets destroyed by a true freshman that looks like Jadeveon Clowney on steroids. I promise we care. We have a lot more talent than we showed, but if you can’t protect, you get wrecked. LSU might beat South Carolina, but I’ll be surprised if they can block Dylan Stewart.

You guys were gracious hosts and made no excuses in defeat. Wish you well the rest of the season and in the future.

Just curious, if it is indeed Mark Stoops’ last season, who are realistic targets for y’all?

Jon Sumrall at Tulane is an alumni and the obvious choice. He killed it at Troy and is a high energy guy that recruits very well. Stoops has elevated our program, but to be honest, he’s getting paid close to 9 million a year and I think he’s lost his edge.

He was very obviously trying to get out of Lexington when the A&M job and he had it until their fanbase revolted Tennessee style. It’s hard to come back and win your team over after that.

What if Stoops plays UGA really close this week, or even beats them, are you still done with him?

he do be good -

offensive line
Wolford is a job jumper - 49ers - Carolina - 49ers - Carolina - Kentucky - Alabama - now back to Kentucky - none of his OL were ever as good as they should have been based on talent -

Stoops will never replace Schlarman - he was one of a kind - but Stoops messed up letting EW back into your program -

I think Stoops ended himself flirting with Aggy and then not being hired there - his NIL comments have not helped at all -

$9mil/year for 2 10 win seasons in 11 years and an overall losing record is absolutely insane. These salaries have become a complete joke

Hilarious that Aggy fans think they’re above anyone. And then they end up with Mike Elko and are excited about it simply because he was their DC for a couple years lmao. They’re a joke of a program and fanbase

Yeah sounds like it’s time for a mutual separation at this point.

That’s what I get for using Wikipedia. It says 64-66. He’s got a massive losing record in SEC play at least. Not even close

He was 74-66, but they took 10 wins away in 2022 for playing Chris Rodriguez that was given a Cush job and salary by UK Hospital, but never showed up for work.

Stoops was never very good and played a lot of cupcakes.

Would you rather have stoops? I wouldn’t.

Some good comments in here. Can't argue with any of it about Stoops and Warford. I think we are spiraling to a joker death season like 3-9 or 4-8.

Hope sumrall is still interested after that.
