Change is in the air. Hearing the conversations between Freeze and the QB are Thorne get your shite together. Hank get ready.

From my understanding there is a possible plan to play Hank every 3rd possession. Reps will be split 60/40 with the 1s this week. Hank’s challenge is to know the base and know the blocking assignments. If he can’t get that in order Freeze will not put him in.

Freeze lit into Thorne’s arse. Do it on the field or it’s done.

Guess we will see what happens.

Hope you’re wrong. If they can’t just use the RADIO in the HeLMEt they could tell him the damn blocking calls. Oh my it’s like we forget they can talk to the QB in his ear. They can tell him his progressions if he doesn’t know them. I swear I give up. No excuse should be given about not knowing anything from QB. But all that comes out from Freezus is excuses. All day…bs

If he learns the blocking assignments, holy crap. Thorne must not know them. Sack sack sack. This offense is run by shitty or just lazy coaching.

Thorne knows them. It’s after snap execution that is the problem.

Hank doesn’t know how to protect himself. Yes helmet communication is there but unless you’re using tempo and you probably wouldn’t very much with Hank the defense can hide everything until after the mics are cut.

Sounds like the Thorne/Robbie situational rotation from last year... and a mess.

I don’t care if Hank knows] as much as Thorne. Most of,the time especially in college the best QBs are the ones that just make plays. Thorne has shown he is not a playmaker and he either has no idea what the coverage is cause he sure forces the ball into coverage a lot.

Yup. The only thing Freeze said was PT was the best running QB. Holding onto the ball forever and taking sacks negates that, Freeze…

Hank's high school HC was Trent Dilfer. Seems he would know some stuff about being a QB.

I am sick and tired, sick and tired, of Freeze talking about this as if it is quantum physics. Put a fcking helmet on a helmet, keep the running back in for protection and have a fcking hot receiver.

Rinse and repeat til Perry or Simmons breaks one for the house.

It aint that difficult, Einstein had a difficult job, this is football.

Not true. Freeze said it’s hard to take out someone that is the best in the practice and by a lot.

The running or scrambling reference was about when the OL misses blocks in pass protection he said Thorne is the most mobile of the QB.

Pretty different. They tried to sub Robby in the middle of drives, and it destroyed any cohesion the drive had.

Teams have given two QB’s drives and had some success.

If you’re going to make a switch do it. This every third play crap is insanity and never works.

Weren’t folks just talking about similarities to Gus.

Oh, remember that Clemson game? Ughhh

Not third play. Every 3rd series.

The alternative is sink or swim with Hank and that isn’t a position unless he makes a big jump in one week of practice that Hugh is wanting to take at this point.

You have to remember Hank has only been in the real Auburn offense since the spring. He was running scout team last season. Running the other teams offense each week.
