I’m be been very optimistic that he would be a lot better with the weapons we have but he just plain sucks. You could put Jerry Rice, Randy Moss, Wes Welker, and Rob Gronkowski in their prime out there and he would find a way to throw for 200 and 3 picks.

We just need the coaches to be done with him.

If Thorne trots out on the field next week I’m not watching and I’m regretting buying tickets to the Arkansas game, should have started a fire with that money.

Hopefully nobody can do worst than Thorne did in one gane but the offense can definitely get worse game to game.

Auburn football isnt for the weak. You can always say uncle and root for Georgia if you need to.

This. We just threw this season away. Freeze spent weeks last year concentrating on recruiting for the future and not game planning. We need to look to the future at the QB position.

I’d rather stick my dick in a meat grinder than root for those figs.

At the end of the game it looked like PT was purposely throwing the game, needs to be an investigation. Kinda kidding!

Being done with him is fine. But who are you replacing him with? Nobody?

See Fears post above. "Start preparing someone else". I hate to break it to you but this season is going to be mediocre, again. Need to get the new guys some reps and see what we have moving forward.

Same thing that has been said since the end of last season

We need to be able sell offense improving.

Thorne can either improve

or get replaced

But the replacement isn't guaranteed to be better. They can even be worse. They are often worse.

This. People are so sold on the idea that “nothing could be worse than what we have right now.”

It very much can.

It also can be very much better than statistically one of the worst QBs in Auburn history too.

How much time does he need to show improvement? In my mind he’s had more than enough, time to rip the band-aid off and move on.
