You have to believe that was a genuinely raw, (rare) spontaneous moment for him, because how often did we ever see him react on the field like this?

I believe the only other time he got so emotional that he was choking up was when they interviewed him after the next years sec championship game when hurts made that comeback.

It meant the world to Coach Saban that Hurts was able to have that moment.

That’s all you have? Must be tough losing opening games for five straight years. Saban never lost an opener at Bama…another useless but impressive fact
