But he beat Alabama once.

That's good enough for a contract extension in Red Stick.

Richt was at least respectable, Kelly's a massive pile of shite and an admitted coward - he was a ND, he is as lsu

To be fair, lsu had lost 8 in a row to Alabama. They were desperate for a win.

If you peel the onion back far enough, you have to wonder if Florida came out with the better situation with Napier in the sense that they can cut bait after this season and start over. LSU looks stuck with a guy whose good enough to win 9 or 10 regular season games, but is allergic to winning the big ones.

It looked like LSU made the better hire when both coaches were announced. It's not playing out like that though. Tough spot to be in as an AD

Mark Richt had a better winning percentage and more wins in less seasons.

Well to be fair, Part of me wants to add a bit of a bump to BKs resume against MR because BK has to go through the SEC West.

The vast majority of BKs resume is from his time at ND.

Richt won multiple SEC titles, BCS bowls, a plethora of > 10 win seasons, all while doing it as a newcomer in the toughest league in america. Not to mention being one of the best coordinators and QB mentors in CFB for over a decade.

To compare kelly to him is frankly an insult to Mark Richt.

Agreed and Richt had two or three seasons where one favorable bounce gets him I. The title game. BK is more like late career Richt

Didn't our coach say he's not getting into a bidding war on players? If that's the case, I'll take my ten wins and be happy. No way I could live through what Florida is going through.

Kelly has played west teams for 2 seasons. Richt has played west teams for 15 seasons.

Idiot.

This is what I said when they were hired. Napier wasn't my choice but if he didn't work out it'd be over in three years.

My problem with Kelly is he's done this for _a long time_ with mostly the same result. Sure, he might "break through" one day, who knows, but how long are you going to wait for a 62 year old to figure it out?

Send me a link of Georgia specifically being in the SEC West division and ‘I’ll change my user name to idiot. Go back to 92 for me please.

Some of you being obtuse when I am clearly referring to BKs time as an SEC
