I love the "Corndog U" part

That was a very nice video though.

Normally I don't try to read too much into those comments, but that one bothers me. Tuscaloosa's "OK" but they like it "there" alot. He was asked about how they liked Tuscaloosa and he volunteered the rest of his own accord. Then goes on to say what we all know, that he made a mistake going to pros. That sound bite, voluntarily given in a more relaxed setting, absolutely sounded like he would love to go back to LSU.

First off, hilarious.
I love it how those folks (presumably from Alabama) refer to Louisiana as trailer trash and nasty. I mean, Louisiana isn't exactly a gem, but those guys are from Alabama, a state the rest of the country thinks is synonymous with trailer trash and rednecks.

Most of the country views the entire South that way, they just think that Louisiana has some coonasses to add to it.

As long as he keeps up his work ethic, bringing in top talent and winning, I don't much care. Bama will be back into the national talk while he is here and when he leaves, whenever that may be. That's about all ya can ask for from coaches anymore.

Nationally, most of the folks associate Louisiana with the scenes depicted in The Water Boy -- swamps, coon asses, etc.

I have friends in nearly every Southern state, and all of them claim the others are shittier and trashier. It's funny because most of the states are almost exactly alike.

swamps & coonasses >>>> rednecks & trailer parks

I'd say Bama is more associated with rednecks more than La, however, La also has the impression of queers and trannys thanks to NOLA too.

At least people in the south speak to each other.

I'm of the opinion that life is good anywhere as long as you want it to be.
I can't imagine wanting to live anywhere other than the South. I'm fine if many prescribe to that line of thinking (that being that the South is a dump), because it keeps property prices down and a smaller population.

My impression of the North:
1) Bland food
2) Boring; no culture
3) Fat women with bad complexions
4) Slow football players
