Alabama
The Crimson Tide had periods of ultimate dominance under Bear Bryant and Nick Saban, but they also won national titles under Wallace Wade, Frank Thomas and Gene Stallings. Alabama remains dominant in this generation, satisfying the recency requirement easily.

Oklahoma
The mid-to-late 1990s are the only real down era for Oklahoma football. For the rest of the Sooners’ history, they’ve been excellent. They haven’t won a national title since the 2000 season, but they played for it after the 2003, 2004 and 2008 seasons and made the four-team College Football Playoff four times.

Georgia
The Wally Butts, Vince Dooley and Mark Richt eras probably were enough to get the Bulldogs on the list, but Kirby Smart’s dominant tenure eliminates any room for debate. Georgia is the current most feared program in college football, and Smart doesn’t seem willing to relinquish that title.

Texas
Even though they won a national title in the 2005 season, the Longhorns also felt in danger of slipping out of the recency requirement. Making the four-team CFP last season and a clear resurgence in player development have put those concerns to rest for now.

Oklohama and Texas can have their blueblood status. We'll take titles.

And if you want to call UGA a blueblood fine, but we remember 1980-2020.

I rather win titles than being labeled a blue blood.

Try winning a title this decade. Covid killed yalls program, with LSU's weak arse immune system.

Which one you think Georgia is?

Mark Richt had Matt Stafford as his QB and couldn't do anything* with him.

EDIT: A big Sugar Bowl win over fringe blue blood Hawaii!

Very few people give a shite about being a "blue blood". We all want success in 2024. That's what matters right now.

BAMA vs Georgia this decade (2018-23)

BAMA 4 Georgia 1

Looks like you flunked Math and history.

I decided to address the slight back to 2017. Just didn't erase the decade part.

I think the phrase “blue blood” needs to be an exception to the first amendment

Tired of hearing that stupid shite

This is some next level retarded.

LSU won 2 titles and played for a 3rd since Texas won its last. Texas made the playoffs once and got bounced in the first round. LSU made it once and won the whole thing.

LSU won 3 titles and played for a 4th since Oklahoma won its last, including beating Oklahoma for one title and bouncing them from the playoffs en route to another.

Switch their places the last 25 years and LSU wins the Big XII every year comfortably. Might even have more titles. (This one is harder to say because they still would have had to beat Alabama to get there, and obviously that matchup hasn’t gone well for LSU in this timeframe.)

The criteria here are inconsistent because OU and UT can only be here over LSU for historical reasons, but then UGA has no business being here either.

Whole thing reads like a giant retarded troll tbh. Probably because it is
