I know everyone is wondering why I have an Alabama logo listed as an affiliation. It's because all Soonies love Alabama and consider them a kindred team and fanbase.

The illustrious Crimson Tide is what many little Soonies grow up striving to emulate. By a quirky twist of fate, the Soonies have a 3-2 winning record against Alabama and feel blessed to be able to say that.

If you will notice, our uniforms are fairly similar to the Tide's uniforms. All of us consider Alabama fans to be classy illustrations of what sophisticated football fans should be and we try our best to make them proud of us.

We've always been Okies. It's because Oklahoma used to be covered in oak trees back in the 19th century.

Virtually all of the Okies original homesteading plots had homes made out of oak trees, hence, Okies.
