La counte quote.

"Whoever you play, it's their Super Bowl," Texas athletic director Chris Del Conte said of his school's move to the SEC, via ESPN. "It's the power of the brand. That won't change in the SEC."

DeLoss Dodds lives-on...."We are the Joneses".

That is about the most TU comment that has TU'd this week. Fear not, there will be plenty more. TU fans will talk of their greatness like a North Korean dictator.

In before SEC fans say we "have no idea what we're in for" and that we'll "soon learn our place."

Most of your fans are even keeled. But you have fans/administrators capable of this type of hyperbole. It’s funny.

I don't disagree. Personally I'd keep my mouth shut and not eat the rat poison.

I was pretty indifferent about Texas joining the SEC, but that is an arrogant and fricked up quote.

One national championship in the last 50 years and you're the swinging dick of the entire SEC conference

Unwarranted arrogance is the defining feature of the Texas population.

Texas has the same number of NC's in the past 50 years as BYU and GT.

We play the two top programs of college football over the last decade plus every year. Texas has a long way to go to even get me stirred just a little.

And theyre too blinded by the arrogance to realize how silly they come across, and that everyone is laughing at them.

LSU, Bama and UGA are all more important games to everyone they play than Texas. Oklahoma has been a much better program in my lifetime than Texas. Not sure where this arrogance comes from

I know it’s his job to pump up the program but I wish he wouldn’t have said that.
