Schlossnagle is very happy at TCU. He was there for many years.

He gets seduced by A&M...money, promises, a chance for a title....and everyone admits he did a great job for aggie baseball.

Trev Alberts comes in, fires a couple of people in the athletics department that are important to Schloss without him being consulted. A&M's promises to him are broken. He is pissed, He feels betrayed. He uprooted his entire life to get screwed over by A&M's leadership.

A trusted friend (and the former TCU AD who is the current Texas AD) reaches our through backchannels over the summer, and a deal is made.

If you took a new job in a leadership role, was told you would have control over your team, and a new executive comes in and fires your people and breaks promises...would you not be pissed? Would you not leave to work for someone you trusted?

It had nothing to do with Alberts. I don’t care the PoS left. He can do as he wishes. But killing the program on the way out the door. Recruiting for your new team for months while “coaching” at the old one. Having the entire staff complicit as well … frick him

He belongs in Austin. He fits Texas and all they stand for

I couldn't disagree more. If you were promised control, a new executive comes in and fires people you depend on without talking to you about it, and you wouldn't be pissed off? Come on....be honest.

If Trev Aberts wants to put on his big boy pants and fire people without talking to the baseball coach, he brought this on himself.

It's exactly what happened.

It's not hard to believe and is likely at least part of the reason Schloss took the job. The question is the timing of all this and what else went on behind the scenes. IF he has been recruiting players on the A&M roster and A&M recruits to Texas for weeks or even months then that is some low down, dirty bullshite. I have no idea if that happened, but I wouldn't put it past him based on things I've read over the years. The guy is a Grade A POS and people who have followed the game closely over the years have known this for some time.

Sleep with the shark, shouldn’t complain when you get eaten. That is reality.

It had everything to do with Alberts..

Alberts got rid of his guys without asking..
Alberts slow played the facilities he was promised..

This triggered all of it..

I had no idea he was like this.

So let’s all find out what he’s really like in greater detail

It’s been in the works since late April. He and his swinging buddy planned it for maximum damage… good for the PoS. He got us good.

Doesn’t change the fact he is a PoS. We simply overlooked it. That happens when you are winning.

Yes, when Alberts fired the two guys that worked for him.

The facilities upgrade were an attempt to talk him off the ledge, but it was too late at that point. He would still be at A&M if not for Alberts..

No he wouldn’t be at A&M. He didn’t even leave any staff behind for evidence. They haven’t worked for him long enough to know what he is …

The PoS is a good coach. Terrible human being.

If you have evidence Schloss was recruiting for Texas while employed at aggy you should really pass along what you have to the aggy AD.

I agree. I wonder if any parents have done so already

Don’t need to. Several of the recruits and player’s parents have already done so. It will all come to light … an incredible screw job by the PoS and his staff. I feel sorry for the players on the team.

Sounds like he made it known he wanted out of TCU. I’ve seen Aggie and Frog fans on this board and other boards say he would have taken the LSU job had A&M not come open first.

So, you are angry about things, but you don't know if they happened.

Look, how you treat people matters. breaking promises matters. If Trev Alberts wants to have a scorteched Earth policy, he has to deal with the consequences.
