I am not one for conspiracy theories but there had to be more to this, was it personal? It seems like Texas was trying to send a message just as they enter SEC.

Our AD has a relationship with Schloss that goes back to both their days at TCU. This wasn't some "hey that guy took aggy to the series final, let's get him!"
