If Vitello bolts with his players to Texas, would that be Alamo II?

You're expecting them to go to Texas and die fighting Mexicans?

This is just the trolls getting in their last jabs while they still can.

If UT wins tonight, it all ends for them.

If it means winning a national championship, then so be it. Hire Elander and keep Frank Anderson and let’s ride.

The Volunteers contribution to defending the Alamo has been way overhyped. Some Texans that I talk to say they were just getting in the way.

With the ways the aTm players are acting it’s almost like they know it’s their coach. They have shown great composure last 2 games, and now they slamming their helmets on ours to 1st and now cussing the home plate umpires on 3rd pitch strike. Their attitudes seems to be different today than rest of the week

He’s not leaving. We can afford to pay him and his staff football money if needed. We have given him a 100 million dollar investment into our stadium that he himself personally designed. After decades, UT has finally made baseball just as big of a priority as our football and basketball program.

But let’s pretend we live in a reality where he did go elsewhere like Texas: at least he’d leave us atop the throne of the college baseball world and we’d just have Josh Elander take the reigns from there.

But again, he’s not leaving Knoxville. Why would he? He’s already proven Tennessee Baseball is a place where you can win it all and make the most money along the way.
