Interesting. A&M beaten by Kentucky. I guess it could happen. We have lost some players.
I’m not sure I would take that bet though. I think it’s more likely we lose to Florida, whom we’ve already lost to twice.
If we do get past Florida I don’t think A&M is close to losing until Tennessee.
Kent looks as good as Montgomery if you watched the game. So I am not sure A&M has really lost much firepower.
That said Oregon collapsed more than A&M beat them. And the top of our line up has been struggling.
So who knows.

Monty was barely breaking .200 since the beginning of May.
Streaks happen and he is still a solid guy, but he had become a liability in the lineup.

All the teams (Even A&M) can beat your arse if you just show up and go through the motions.
This means it’s a grind to win. We end up beating ourselves up and seldom does even the best teams come out without losing games to the other teams.
Almost never does a team go undefeated. Case in point. A&M lost to SEC teams but when undefeated in out of conference play.
Many times Georgia or Bama or LSU will lose a football game to a rival only to still win a title.
This isn’t a league where you can heal up while playing weaker opponents. You end up battled and bruised and frequently injury riddled.
So if you think Texas will skate through this league , it’s going to be fun watching you realize this reality.
It’s okay. I know you believe the Big12 is amazing and real tough competition.
But there is a reason why most of the NFL comes from the SEC. It’s not a fluke or an accident.
Never mind. Some things have to be learned the hard way.
