Yep. Heard it a million times from my peers that are Tenn fans. I appreciate the sacrifice of those in history but that has nothing to do with any of you living today, so I owe them nothing.

And don’t leave out the fact that the Vols have been playing football longer than Texas has been a state.

Tennessee's football program began in 1891, organized in large part by Henry Denlinger, a teacher who had played at Princeton. The team's first game, a loss to Sewanee, was played on November 21, 1891. The program's first win did not come until October 25, 1892, when they defeated Maryville College in Maryville, Tennessee, by a score of 25–0. Tennessee competed in their first 5 seasons without a coach.

get the frick out with your lies..

Oh no doubt.

And one less natty.

Give us a couple of years. We might be able to even the natty count up for you. We're pretty good at this playoff thing. We kinda weren't good at getting BCS championship game invites.

LSU had a bit of bad luck in 2011 with the OK st choke and 2005 with Katrina/Rita, don’t you think?

2011 is tough to call. LSU controlled their own destiny the whole way and ended up losing in the championship game. That's less about luck then not getting in with 1 loss because two other teams from other conferences were undefeated, but might not have been able to go undefeated against your schedule. Luck is about getting a shot, not about how you do once you're in the championship/playoff.

It's like saying UGA was unlucky in 2017 because Bama made it despite not making the SECCG or Bama was unlucky in 2021 that UGA made it despite losing in the SECCG. In both cases the teams were in the playoff and controlled their own destiny from there. Same applies to LSU in 2011.

2005 LSU had 2 losses. A 2 loss team not making a 2 team playoff isn't unlucky, it's to be expected. It takes a TON of luck for a 2-loss team to make it to a BCS Championship. LSU is the only team to ever get that kind of luck.

Actually, it appears that it was difficult. UGA didn’t go 45 years between national championships like LSU did. Is basic math hard for you?

Yes. She can’t face the facts. She said that nothing is true in my post. It is all true. Like the fact that LSU went 45 years between national championships. Just made an emotional fool of herself because her feelings were hurt.

Because your fans are low down, they dirty, and they some snitches.

Also because they incessantly shite post the Rant. And Vitello acts like he’s a rejected cast member of Jersey Shore.

LSU had a little luck to get in in '03 and a LOT of luck to get in with 2 losses in '07. UGA had no luck in the BCS era.

I love me some UGA tears.

I'm not bitter.

We win titles in all sports but basketball.

And it appears baseball season isn't over like some thought it was

Why is it as a 14-team conference, we can't be happy for or proud of another school's accomplishment regardless of sport?

It's a good question. It's a pretty hateful world these days, especially on social media, and this place is no better.

That being said, there is good discussion on here quite a bit. It's not that hard to skim over the flame wars once you get used to it.
