Brian Kelly - 255 (Citrus Bowl)
Lane Kiffin - 145 (Peach Bowl)
Hugh Freeze - 139 (Sugar Bowl)
Mark Stoops - 138 (Citrus Bowl)
Kirby Smart - 110 (National Championship)
Billy Napier - 77 (First Responder Bowl)
Josh Heupel - 75 (Orange Bowl)
Eli Drinkwitz - 62 (Cotton Bowl)
Sam Pittman - 48 (Outback Bowl)
Kalen Deboer - 46 (Sugar Bowl)
Shane Beamer - 38 (Duke's Mayo Bowl)
Clark Lea - 36 (-)
Mike Elko - 25 (Military Bowl)
Jeff Lebby - 0 (-)

Georgia's ROI is by far the best. LSU's ROI is cringe.

255 games coached and the best bowl win for Kelly is the Citrus Bowl.

Dude. Billy Napier is your coach and you are worried about LSU’s financial history?

He’s 11-14 in 2 years at Florida and that’s with a handful of high draft picks.

Btw. Florida has paid him 1.2 million per win so far. Vs LSU paying 950k per win.

Facts are cool

Didn't realize Kirby is now the only SEC coach to win a nattie.

If he had a great record etc, then what I said wouldn't be a thing. Everyone would be saying - oh he's a great coach.

I don't get the comparison with cost per wins. Are we pretending the 2 programs were on equal terms when they were hired? Florida has fired it's past 3 coaches in about the past 10 years. LSU was coming off a NC just a few years prior and your coach did everything he could to help LSU on his way out to retirement.

He's got a extremely difficult season coming up, so we'll see what happens. The odds are they have a losing season, but if he can win 8 games on it, I think that would be a hell of an accomplishment.

Not as a head coach, he's not. Bama fans always say this about him and they are always wrong.

Just because he coached receivers at Bama in the past doesn't mean he can lead.

His leadership at ULL was based on gimmicks and BS that isn't going to fly at a big time program.

How was that exactly? By spending more time with a bunch of blonde bimbos after his divorce than he did focusing on the football team and destroying the roster in the process?

I don't care about his time as a position coach at Alabama. I don't even think I knew he was a positions coach at all until he was hired as a HC.

But he took over a ULL team that had a losing record and had them winning their conference in his 2nd year. And then sustained it for another 2 after that. I don't know what kind of gimmicks can bring that in.

He obviously knows how to win and do so consistently. It's just a matter of if he can get the program to where it needs to be.

His recruiting has improved every year he's been there. #19 class in 2022(loads of 3 stars, his inherited class), #13 in 2023, and #10 with 2 5 stars last year. However, his ranks are mostly lower because he's not getting full classes. I'm not sure on why.

He is bringing in some talent, just 5-6 less of them than other teams for some reason.

The overall rankings are comparable with how Florida was recruiting previously until you get to the Meyer era, however the average recruit ranking he has brought in over the past 2 years is noticeably higher.

The average recruit ranking is near the top5, so overall I think he has been improving the talent and strength of the program. His past 2 classes have only had a total of 10 3 stars, all the rest are 4 stars and a 5 star. The 2022 class he somewhat inherited has 11 3 stars in that class alone. 2021 also had 11 3 stars.

2020 Florida almost recruited to level of Napier, only bringing in 6 3 stars that year, but still their average was lower. But then going back before then, it gets worse with lots of 3 stars and lower average recruits.

So like I said, I think he's better than people give him credit for and he's actually improving Florida despite it's bad record of the past 2 years.

Oh my bad, so why did LSU let him finish out the year again?

Because that was the reason they said they let him finish out the year to help maintain the recruiting class.

Ed Orgeron won't return as LSU Tigers' football coach in 2022 as AD says it's 'time for a new direction'

quote:

Woodward praised Orgeron's passion and pride for the program and the state of Louisiana. He said it was in the best interest of the current players and future recruiting that Orgeron finish the season.

Instead of all that yapping, you should watch Florida actually play a football game. Napier's on-field coaching invalidates your entire dissertation.
