Somebody forgot another inconvenient fact again…

Texas has gone 5-7 four times since 2009.

Texas a&m has gone 5-7 50% of the time in the last 2 seasons

They have also watched Texas secure a 12-win season in 2023 while knowing texas a&m will never do that ever again

Oklahoma owns Texas since the turn of the century. Just try and beat them consistently. Go sit at the kiddie table.

If OU has "owned Texas since the turn of the century" then what do you call what Texas has done to poor a&m?

"Stupid sip!! Everybody knows there weren't any scholarship limitations and that Texas a&m was an all-male military school until 2012!!!"

Didn't SEC TAMU beatdown Oklahoma with Johnny Football in the Cotton Bowl? And when I say beatdown, I mean beatdown.

Well, now, that can’t be right.

Oklahoma was Big 12 co-champion that year and we finished in something like13th place in the SEC.

Yes, but that is only because OU "didn't wanna be there"... much like Alabama "didn't wanna be" in their bowl game the next season.

My guess is that coach Fran, on the short end of 77, "didn't want to be there either."

I forgot that final score was before the 3rd quarter had ended.

I do remember the aggie d linemen celebrating when they stopped a 4th and goal later in the game.. sadly, the OU RB basically took a knee.

Yeah, that celebration was weird/funny. Maybe it was a freshman or someone who was tired of giving up touchdowns. It was surprising though.

Fran was such an idiot. He finally decided to get tough when he knew he was getting canned. Whichever year that was. Basically had Stephen McGee run the option all day to beat Texas in the finale.

That was the 06 and 07 seasons. It was entertaining as hell watching us run the spread option with Jorvorski Lane and Mike Goodson. It’s wild to think we won a game in Austin 12-7 in the 21st century

McGee out toughed us that day. He was hitting like a linebacker.

77-0 happened over 20 years ago right? A lot has happened since then…

Right, Sumlin came in, won a bunch of Championships and got promoted to Arizona. Then Jimbo came in, won a bunch of Championships, won a $100 million lottery and got promoted to retirement.

LOL, Just yesterday I nominated you for the Ole Miss good egg award. I may have been thinking of someone else.

Screw it. When you're right, you're right. And you my friend are right. You're a good egg in my book.

Funny thing is I read that thread after I posted this comment and laughed.

But hey, I am one of the ones here that actually like Mizzou being in the SEC.
