To be honest I have no problem with pro-palestinian sentiment. Palestinians get shite on by everyone. They need all the help they can get.
I'm absolutely against pro-Hamas sentiment. Hamas is a terrorist organization that kills people indiscriminantly (both Israeli and Palestinian).
Some people incorrectly assume Palestine = Hamas. That's not accurate.
I sympathize with Palestinians getting pissed at Israel coming in and taking their homes or firing missiles into their neighborhoods when Hamas is using them as human shields for their terrorist actions. They're kind of fricked and there's not a whole lot they can do to avoid getting killed by one side or the other.
But when I see pro-Hamas protests, that irks me.

It largely is. 70% of Palestinians support Hamas, including 10/7

The real irony are all those chanting “free Palestine” while crapping on Israel. That’s exactly what Israel is trying to do……

Hamas is their elected government.
Moreover, they are taught from birth and hold true in their belief the “river to the sea” rhetoric.
They are complicit as well.

Hamas and Palestine are joined at the hip. Hamas didn’t sprout from the ground and take over the land. They were born and raised in Palestine. The Palestinians literally voted them into political power over Palestine. Yeah, not every Palestinian is in or a supporter of Hamas, but it’s not the majority.
