A&M went 5-7 two years ago and lost to app state at home despite paying them $1.5 million (and a recruiting class $30 million). Nobody cares about what Texas did when Charlie Strong was coach after you just paid $77 million to fire a coach simply due to being jealous of Texas' success
Y'all make this way too easy.
Why do you insist on self-owning yourself so much on here

Texas has one good season and now they’re the greatest thing since sliced bread.
Texas is back!

Aggie talking "gullible" when they were convinced to pay App State $1.5 million to get their arse kicked on national television and become a country-wide punchline

So this is XWing's new alias. You should get a new schtick.

Texas sure as hell didn’t dominate the big 12 conference in football.
There was a famous meme about the “murderers row” of Kansas, Iowa State, Baylor and Kansas State beating the horns repeatedly for years.
But this schtick is important to his psyche. He has no ability to see how goofy he looks.

Won the conference our last year *check*
Man, for how much crap the aggies talk about the big 12, you aure would think they won more than one time in 16 seasons before running away to escape Texas’ shadow

Youre literally hiding behind Baylor and Kansas because you’re too scared of us

Explain that logic…

They do beat UF by quite a lot in winning pct.

Logic has nothing to do with it. Clearly you have never been to Starkville for a home game. You may get used to it over time, but folks get a bit unraveled at least the first time.

Hail State!
Just ask any SEC team, but Auburn remembers this gem 3 - 2

That one loss to Georgia, 9-10, in the 1984 Cotton Bowl cost Texas the National Title and gave the National Title to Miami, FL. Painful loss!

We got owned for a good 40 years, however none of us were even a thought during that time

Have you ever been to StarkVegas?
(be honest)
Many a team heads there thinking an automatic win, only to come away with beating (knocking them out of a Natty later) or a loss. If it helps, imagine traveling to kansas and getting you team beat up like a rag doll no matter the final score. tGrind is real and any SEC team can vouch for it. You think Bama is good at taking out Utx QB's, just wait to see who is injured for the season after a trench warfare in Starkville.
Since most have never been to Starkville in their life (or the state of Mississippi) they clearly have the element of surprise for the home team. Oxford came to drink when you visit, but Bulldogs came to play.
If you have never been to the Egg Bowl my suggestion is to put it on your bucket list like a weekend trip to Michie. The rivalry has sort of mellowed in recent years but for old folks, it may be the best rivalry in the country for pure hate yet for love when either team has a run of bad fate.

That will all change when you get hit in the mouth 12 weeks straight and aren’t playing Iowa State, Baylor, and Kansas. But you do play A&M again so there’s a win.

Iowa State = Vanderbilt
Baylor = S Carolina
Kansas = Miss St
Get over yourselves.

Alabama > Oklahoma
LSU > Oklahoma
Georgia > Oklahoma
Florida > Oklahoma
Y’all play one game a year against a team that cannot beat anyone of these teams on a consistent basis and is 17-8 against you since 2000. How do you really think this is going to work out when you play 4 or 5 games a season against teams better than the best team you play all season??
