I thought the 24 Orange Bowl didn't exist? I mean that's what their rings say!
Were I a FSU supporter those rings would be a cautionary tell which indicates the take away from the game was "we were cheated" not that "we quit on ourselves and that shite ain't happening again". FSU has an opportunity to change their culture....UGA handed them ample motivation...Texas did it for UGA by one TD if memory serves.....those rinds indicate, to me, that FSU did not learn anything other than the world is picking on them, the mind set of a loser.....

He comes by it honestly. Norvell quit on the team before most of the players physically or emotionally bailed on the Orange Bowl. That was the biggest bunch of quitters I've ever seen on a football field.

Its culture.
This is true. But the problem doesn’t begin in college. As soon as these guys turn 14 and it becomes apparent that they have legitimate D1 talent, all responsibility and accountability is taken off their shoulders. They’re treated like veteran pros before they have to prove anything. It’s all about “protecting their business.”

it happened to Alabama when they played Oklahoma in the 2014 Sugar Bowl.. Oklahoma smacked them pretty good.. idk if OU was just better than year or if Alabama didn't want to be there though..
OU has a history of putting an incredible amount of effort when no title is on the line. When there's something to play for they choke, but their relatively meaningless bowl games are always max effort. Same applied for that game, unfortunately for Bama.
And unfortunately for the rest of college football, that was Derrick Henry's coming out party. So, wasn't all bad for Bama's future teams.

This is true but there is a difference in culture at places like FSU and UGA...the players are from the same backgrounds....they pooch their lips out and pout at FSU when things do not go their way...they did the same thing at UGA in 2018. They have had the opportunity to do it again at UGA since and did not.....for the most part everyone played. Thats the difference in a championship culture and a culture of quitters and me first types.

4 SEC teams have more national titles that FSU this century. Hey you’re tied with Auburn for 5th place in the conference though.
FSU is relevant about once every decade and it looks like you guys used up your card last year to get slaughtered by Georgia in the orange bowl. Better luck in 2030.

Not sure your point here. We've corrected that situation. Our coach corrected that and it mattered to him.
