That rule seems to have been overturned by the NCAA codifying the WV Fed case last week.

the SEC has not changes their rule (despite discussing doing so); no player in the spring portal from a SEC school; which will now also include players from Texas and Oklahoma, are allowed to transfer to another SEC school to play in the fall.
