So if I’m reading things correctly, UK insiders are saying there was an original top tier of 3 guys:

1a Hurley
1b Drew
1c Donovan

They made the first initial run at Drew because they felt he was the most realistic. He turned them down.

So now step 2 is to push all the chips on the table for Hurley and make him say no.

If that option fails, then focus on Donovan. If that option fails, then come up with a Tier 2 target list.

Is that basically the deal, Kentucky fans?

Per Norlander, Hurley has said no (and understandable).

You’re correct on the rest. We wait a bit for Donovan unless they’re able to get him to negotiate/accept before end of his season.

If that’s the case it’s not 1a/b/c.

It’s

1 Drew
2 Hurley
3 Donovan
