Kentucky has a built in Kentucky discount.

Saban had a Saban discount as well.

Kentucky will have to open up more.

But Kentucky has never had a recruiting issue.

Rupp just had a $310 million dollar renovation in 2022.

My guess is Craft will hand a blank check to Hurley and Donovan and hope one of them says yes. If not, they’ll have to scout an unknown coach who they think has the potential. It’s extremely risky though.

We were assured three days ago that it is far and away the best job in college basketball. We were told they could get anyone they wanted. That any coach out there would crawl to Kentucky. Yes, those things were actually posted here.

Y’all might should have saved that money. Because it is beginning to look like it might take $300 million to get yourself a decent coach.

Like Tennessee football with Phil Fulmer?

Expecting to win a few post season games against double digit seeds is unrealistic?

When you are paid $ 8.5 million a year it goes with the territory. When you have NBA talent you are expected to win something. Nobody expects a final four every year but with that talent maybe you reach a sweet sixteen in four years?

Kentucky is a great job for a good coach. Just as Alabama football is a great job.

You too are a moron. IF someone doesn't take a premier position in life, that makes the job default to obscurity?

This is weird. Not many people are MADE to take on the Kentucky job. It's HUGE! you know it but have relegated yourself to being a dumbass like some others.

The Crafts have already said they’ll go 6+ with a new coach. They were unhappy with the ROI on the money they were giving to Cal before the last couple of years.

Belle, how dare you bring knowledge and logic to TRant!

Well, I've heard statements from two different coaches at this point who have asked God "should I coach at Kentucky?". He told both of them "frick No, those guys are nuts".

What do you do if God doesn't want you to have a coach?

You will always have your memories.

And an ESPN 30 for 30 documenting the downfall of Kentucky basketball.

But chin up. At least you aren’t WildcatMike.
