I imagine those numbers would be much less if the rest of the SEC had been super competitive in basketball as it has been in football over the decades.
Let's look at it, How many basketball national championships reside in SEC schools' coffers other than Kentucky's? Arkansas and Florida? Once, twice each?
Now, how many football national championships are in the SEC outside of Alabama? LSU, Georgia, Tennessee, Florida, Auburn all have multiple titles. Heck, even Ole Miss can claim one. (Arkansas was not in the SEC when it claims theirs)
