BREAKING: Vanderbilt is hiring James Madison’s Mark Byington as its next head coach, sources told me and
@PeteThamel. Byington just led the Dukes to a record-setting 32-4 season, highlighted by a win at Michigan State and an NCAA tournament victory over Wisconsin.

That’s a let down, but the writing was on the wall when Oats extended at Bama.

Of course the majority of the replies (at least on my feed) are speculation about Cal.

Good choice...I hope Vandy does well, it makes the SEC look good to have one of America's best University's succeed in athletics.

Plus, better competition is good for all of us.
