Austin Simmons for Ole Miss is 2-0 as a reliever, with a 1.5 ERA so far. Not too shabby for a freshman dual-sport athlete.

My 10u daughter has 0.77 ERA, 34Ks and 8 BBs and is 4-0 in bracket games. Swing and miss % is around 35%. 3 shutouts and 2 no hitters.

The fact that he is a backup freshman QB should be completely irrelevant to people's perceptions of him as a baseball player.
