Not trying to get political, but I'm honestly surprised that Georgia hasn't gotten pressured to change their flag by the NCAA since their flag is pretty much a copy of the stars and bars with the Georgia seal within the stars.

It’s because the original Georgia state flag was the state seal plus the rebel flag (like many southern states). Given that most people don’t know what the “stars and bars” actually are (typically confusing it with the rebel flag), the state legislature full of shite heels decided to sneak this version through and complaint over it has been relatively minimal so it remains.

It’s pretty funny considering the previous version had the giant confederate battle flag. The new one is just less overt to most people I guess.

Thats the best part of it all

Georgia used to have the battle flag in their state flag and triggered white liberals told black people they needed to be offended so Georgia changed it

But whomever was in charge was obviously a smart conservative and changed the damn thing to the stars and bars and ignorant liberals are too dumb to notice and be force offended
