Our odds keep improving. BAMA's odds keep going down. Interesting.

Ole Miss and Alabama are good plays

Well, sure.
They've realized our QB is the real deal and that he will in fact be eligible.
In Heupel's offense, a top QB makes all the difference in the world.

until LSU can prove it can play defense, I don't think you can give them better odds than this

Kansas State seems a little out of place. I watched their QB in the bowl game, and he looks pretty good, but still... is this just a team that nobody is talking about because it’s Kansas State? Or is it because it’s a new BIg 12? Or are they actually supposed to be legit this year?

These are really lousy payouts down the line. Sucker bets.

LSU will be favored in every game

No way. The gumps guarantee that this is just wishful thinking. They are Bama. Nothing else matters.

I don't care if we win the SEC or not, we just have to finish with a good enough record to get into the 12-team playoff.

No way in hell even with our hard schedule we finish 9th in the sec …. You can forget about that right now and after Tenn game OU odds will skyrocket .

I would take Bama at + 225. I mean, they haven’t been completely gutted yet.

quote:K-state has a good track record when it comes to hiring head coaches, probably because Bill Snyder is not only still alive, but advises the AD as well. Klieman is one of those coaches that will eventually end up at a higher profile program because he simply gets the most out of his players at any level he coaches. Same with Lance Liepold at Kansas.

K State is -200, Utah is -110, Arizona is +200, Kansas is +250. Then Texas Tech is +550, Iowa St +700, Okie State +800.
One of those teams WILL be in, possibly 2 because of their record.
That's the drawback to expansion; the Big 12 and ACC still get auto bids/top 4 seeds, and their paths are significantly easier than going through the SEC or Big 10. Big 10 appears very top heavy, and SEC is SO deep.

Alabama's going to suck next year. Didn't you guys get the memo from sRant already?
