I’m talking bout the real fans not the ones that tagged along after the success.

It took roughly 1 month for the most respected Gump on this website to have a total breakdown

There's already way less Bama shite on cars and in peoples yards around here than there was 5 years ago. Now looking forward to Phase 2 where the bangwagon in Georgia is looted and pushed off a cliff.

It's been 18 years. So most of the fans that even did Shula won't remember how to Shula.

Shula was fired. Pretty much every coach you had between Bear and Saban was either fired, left due to pressure of not meeting expectations or left with the program hobbled by NCAA punishment which led to losses.

I'd say there is a good deal more pressure now (and greater expectations) than when the Bear left.

Shula took over from Fran...so that isn't a great comparison. Think more DuBose...

The fact that Bama fans are making preemptive threads like this indicates that they can’t.

You mean the fanbase that is known for "beat ourselves" and claiming several bogus titles beyond what would already be the most?

No. We know you can't.

Most of the real ones are awesome people and I'm sure they can. Now the trailer trash, cali bros, and yankee douche bags are a whole other animal.

Well, your players were attacking little coeds on the field in frustration after the UT loss in 22. Then all your fans backed him up, saying she deserved it.

So yeah, I really think GUMP fans can’t handle a few losses

Just don't lose to the wrong teams too often. Mike Shula could write a book on that. And so could Bill Curry, and Dennis Franchione.

My BIL has been a Bama fan his entire life (he's 40) and cried like a lil bitch after Texas beat Bama last year.

I know a guy from Theodore through work who lit his camper on fire after LSU beat Bama in 2022.

I believe it would mean extra handgun deaths, extra divorces (even between siblings) and extra injuries from thousands of jumpers off the bandwagon.
