What are your predictions for the SEC? I assume LSU is the favorite? Give it me strait….or straight for you youngsters….lol

LSU is probably the favorite. But, as is in all sports, it's a long season and anything can happen. The phrase "that's baseball" didn't just come from nowhere. It's a funny game and there are a lot of ups and downs along the way. One injury to a pitcher can change the entire outcome for a team.

I think Arkansas or Florida were actually the preseason favorites for the SEC with LSU coming in close as well. Any of those 3 teams could win the SEC.

They just did the preseason predictions last week
They have ark as the favorite to win sec
I think lsu was as high as #2 in preseason polls nationally and a little lower in some others

Florida & Arkansas we’re predicted to be better than LSU. I’d say Florida, LSU, & Vandy will make a run.

Florida has 4 of 12 players on the SEC preseason first team. They're stacked. Arkansas was picked to finish first in the west. LSU should be good but we're replacing 6 position players. Lost a lot of high end talent from last year.

That’s good to hear….I came out of Coleman on Saturday and contemplated going to the baseball game but the North wind hit me and I wilted….lol. Too cold…burrrrr

LSU is not the favorite. Need to replace too many key players from last year. Ark, Vandy, Tenn, UF, LSU, A&M, OM all could win their divisions/conf and it would not shock me.

Based on preseason predictions and rankings, Florida was the easy favorite in the east, while Arkansas just edged out LSU in the west.
Overall it looks like:
Florida
Arkansas
LSU
Vandy
Texas A&M
Tennessee
Alabama
South Carolina
You can quibble about swapping this team for that team, but that is a predict good power ranking. Again, preseason.

All I know for sure is mizzou lost their AD to Arizona.
