He was at the Georgia softball game to watch his sister play. You will recall he said he transferred to Ohio State to escape UGA racism.

Especially the Korean Georgia fans.

Did you know discrimination is still legal in South Korea?

But yet his sister remained to play for UGA in same “racist” environment?

It worked out best for everyone.

UGA won 2 Nattys after he left for Ohio State and Fields won a Heisman, beat UGA head to head, was the #1 overall NFL pick, won NFL ROY and MVP trophy, and is making sure the Bears are kings of the NFC North for the foreseeable future.

He went north to Ohio like his ancestors via the underground railroad.

I doubt any redneck would be dumb enough to give him any lip.

Except he never said that. Not once.

fricking infuriating that the NCAA granted immediate eligibility (w/ zero scrutiny) to this dickhole bc “racism”,

meanwhile, while Luke Ford, who transferred from UGA to Illinois to be closer to home so that his ailing grandfather could see him play gets his waiver (and appeal) denied “because Champaign is outside a 100-mile radius from Carterville, Ill, Ford’s hometown, and that his grandpa isn’t a nuclear family member”

Lol. This still.

He transferred from UGA to escape sitting the bench for another year.

He has since publicly stated he loved UGA and missed it so much he considered transferring back during his first year at Ohio State.

LINK

This is the key quote that tells the reason why he left:

"The decision to leave Georgia wasn't easy for Fields, but sitting on the bench was much harder for the dual-threat quarterback.

"I think every football [player] out there in college football wants to play every play on the field," Fields said. "

The fact he was wanting to come back to Athens and that his sister stayed at UGA just shows racism at the school played no part in him transferring. While there was a UGA baseball player who made a racist slur toward Fields, he was IMMEDIATELY (as in within 3 days) dismissed from the UGA baseball team. That's the culture of UGA toward racism, that is it's not tolerated in any way. Fields himself and his lawyer said that their waiver claim for immediate eligibility had nothing to do with racism at UGA.

But feel free to beat a dead horse if you like. UGA simply points to the facts above when other schools try to negative recruit using it.
