No one should be surprised when college football players gets arrested

College football is all about winning and winning at any cost. Every year coaches recruit and sign players that they know have a suspect background, but they feel it's worth the risk, if it means they can win more games.
Sadly, college football has absolutely nothing to do with academics and everything to do with winning, period! I was sad to see Holly get arrested and charged with attempted second degree murder, but I wasn't shocked in the least.
If you continually bring in players with a history of breaking the law, it's only a matter of time before something happens. Sad part is coaches are still going to recruit players with suspect backgrounds because they know if they don't, opposing teams will. Unfortunately, this is the reality of college football today!

What makes them questionable?

I agree. We never used to read and hear about players getting arrested and effing up back in the 80s and 90s. College football has lost its moral compass. Everything these days sucks!

Tennessee and Nebraska were the two biggest Prop 48 super thug programs in the country back in the 90s. It's no coincidence that neither has been shite since. Getting highly questionable recruits aceepted into school was way easier in the 90s and 50 times easier back in the 80s.

Holly didn't have a background and he has the most yards and touchdowns in louisiana history.
Id say that's why Kelly recruited him

I was wondering when the excuses would start rolling in.
Funny how that didn't seem to matter last year.

This was old news for anyone that was on Tigerant days ago. I went over to check out the vibe a few days ago when LSU lost in basketball bc it makes for good bathroom reading. There were threads that Holly was arrested and news would break here soon. The same threads got axed, I guess bc it was a rumor at that point. Whoever broke that news days ago was pretty plugged in.

Holly was immediately suspended from the team. Miller was getting a pat down when his name was called before games.
there's a difference

It's simple
you get 90 dudes together some of them are going to be idiots regardless of what sport they play
you replace 25 of those dudes every year with 25 new ones do that over and over and over and eventually your going to get an idiot that does murder
it doesn't matter the program the coach or any of that
it's just odds, out of hundreds of guys in and out of your program eventually one will be an absolute dumbass

In all the time I have been here, never has one user owned another user like Stephen owns you. Your account is completely devoted to him. What a cuck.

...and there's the deflection.

This.
All SEC schools at one time or another have players who get caught up in criminal activity, it's how the schools react that is telling. LSU immediately suspended Holly. Alabama celebrated Miller. Oklahoma fans gave a standing ovation to their running back after he punched a woman, probably the most disgusting display of fandom I have witnessed in person.
