That is a sweet mustang. Congrats to you and Carson. Men deserve toys.

"Integra Type S" Those are nice cars, I heard an absolutely blast to drive and yes 320HP will blow your hair back.
I didn't go to cars and coffee last weekend because well EZ still has my car (Been there 3 weeks) but plan to go next month. Will keep an eye out for you. I am sure both our cars are easy to find.

Everyone loves hyperbole and pining for the old days now and then, but how the hell is "the game we know dead."
you obviously alreayd know the answer to this if you've been paying any attnetion. Just for starters:
-Mega super conferences based solely on money and nothing about regionality.
-Players being able to freely transfer whenever they want to whererver they want with no repercussions
-Players getting paid with essenetially zero restrictions. Recrutis getting paid. Having to re-recruit and repay your entire roster every season to avoid them leaving due to the bullet point above
-Expanded playoffs where 3 or even 4 loss teams will now get a chance to be a national champion, essentilaly rendering the regular season virtually worthless
And I'm sure many more items I'm forgetting for now. We can go round and round all we want but it is an undeniable, indisputable FACT that these are no longer "amateur student athletes" in the way that they've been since the 1800s. These are now paid professionals so yeah, the fundamental foundation of the sport is now completely changed.

How is a game experience at Sanford Stadium today any different than it was 10-20 years ago
For starters, the average joe probably aint gonna be in Sanford today nearly as much as 20 years ago. Prices have soared, although that's partially due to success so I get that and have no issue with it. 5-10 years ago there were what, probably liek 100 Magill society members? Now it's probably into the thousands. 10 years aog there may have been a dozen silver circle members, now it's probably into the hundreds. If you aren't already fortunte and lucky enough to have renwable season tickets you essentailly now have no chance and shouldn't even bother. Away games are an even worse venture. You have to have over 125K Points to even ASK for tickets to Texas and bama games this year, and if/when you are lucky enough to receive them you will be in the very last row of the very upper deck.
There's also a difference in the dudes we're watching on the field wearing the jersey. 20 years ago as you metnioend, you still had A LOT of guys that came here because they loved the G, or Athens, or grew up dawgs fans, whatever. Now you still have that SOME but you have an exponentially higher number of hired mercenaries that are ONLY here because of how mcuh we were allowd to pay them. I love UGA so will obviously continue watching but it's a whole different set of guys on the field these days. I'ts harder to really get attached to guys this way, which may or may not be an issue for some I'm jsut pointing it out.

Holy smokes. 657 HP twin turbo. 0-6 in 3.1 seconds.
Great. We have such a good history with athletes driving.
I can’t say I wouldn’t do the same thing if I was in his situation but a Lambo? Cmon man have a little bit of humility.

You saw what they are asking for those and assuming you can even find one ?
Some dealers are asking 300k or they sell it at MSRP but you have to buy a second car with a 70k mark up
OH and WG_Dawg absolutely nails it..
I don’t even pay attention to recruiting anymore. What does it matter half those kids will transfer, they go who gives them the biggest bag.
UGA could not have peaked at a better time. You have a Championship legacy now. It’s THE premier program in the SEC so you have NIL and that. Bama had it but that is going away…
As an LSU fan as much as I am not a fan of Kelly I do like he is focusing recruiting and portal on Louisiana kids. It helps reduce that a little as some kids want to play for the home team…

Aside from some of our Rudies and other walk-ons, I just don't think that this is true. 90-whatever percent of our scholarship players 20 years ago grew up dreaming of playing in the NFL and just viewed college football as a pitstop. Same as today.
Even the lowest 3 star players come in as freshmen thinking that they'll play in the NFL one day, just because they were such bad asses in high school and so many people have told them that they will play in the NFL one day.

Right I'm not saying otherwise or arguing against it. My point was that decades ago guys that had NFL aspirations would use that as one in a laundry list of reasons to come here but they would also generally have a whole bunch of reasons. One of which seemingly was that they'd grown up georgia fans. Nowadays most guys worth a damn that come here are going to do so because of how mcuh we can pay them.

That car has some power.
So you are saying that our starting quarterback will be dead before next season.
I am on the fence with NIL but shite like this needs to be treated like "you are not allowed to ride motorcycles or go cliff diving."

Gonna take a big name player being decapitated by a tree going 150 for this to hit anyone’s radar.

DJ Shockley drove an absolute beater IIRC. We've come a long way since then.
Do y'all think Carson is parking that thing at say, Lumpkin Square or Players Club every night? I like to think so.
