Sorry...any list that doesn't include the Chattooga suspect to me. The river where Deliverance was filmed has to be in the top 8 IMHO.

Alabama native Philip Rivers
Pretty much only offered a scholarship at the last minute by Alabama and Auburn, so he went to North Carolina State who was much better at judging talent and had been the first team to recruit him.
