I'm not. We don't have a lot of bandwagon fans that didn't attend the school.

You mean Fans ? You can’t even make the top 18 in viewership. Pretty low bar. But perfect sentiment to describe the program.

It's top 5 for sure but Penn State has a larger alumni base.

Not sure of how accurate the attendance #s are, but it's not surprising how closely the top 18 in viewership are to the bottom grouping of actual college attendance estimates at the school they pull for.

It's a symbiotic relationship (winning brings fans, fans bring energy and money that bring more winning), and it's honestly what makes CFB/other college sports great and sets the elite programs apart.

The Bottom 10 includes:
2 Big12
2 B1G
4 ACC
Vandy
An Other likely to be Oregon State or WSU.

Interesting we're still that high considering we've generally sucked since 2010.

Which means the SEC can't be lowballed by ESPN or any other network wanting a slice..or better not be if Sankey likes his job.

Okst is one of the best overall athletic programs in the country, we’ve had nearly $1billion poured into facilities and infrastructure that rivals the mid tier SEC programs without an SEC budget. 25%+ of each class is from Texas as they offer instate tuition (I’m from Houston).

Kids grow up as Texas fans but aren’t top 5% in their 800+ senior class go to Stillwater, since A&M and OU are rivals.

Three percent of Texas fans actually went there. Three.

They’re the most sensitive and least self aware fanbase in North American sports, which is saying something. Austin was podunk personified before the West Coasters with some from the East and Midwest civilized them.

The program was reeling from the CS1950 and tutoring witch hunts from 2016-19. Off field issues + team not winning in a state littered with pro sports and entertainment options= bad viewing numbers in that timeline. Simple.
