I think we all know a decline, however significant, was easily predictable. What surprises me is how Bama fans are currently shitting all over Saban’s recruiting and coaching abilities.

They couldn’t win anymore with Saban’s players. It was time to clean shop and get some real talent in. The guys they are getting just played for a NC, so they must be good.

It's just a coping mechanism. The Gumps know they're losing some damn good players along with a few that are unproven or proven to be so-so. (their center)
They arent used to this at all. Gumps under 30 have pretty much grown up with Bama dominating the CFB both in recruiting and on the field, and those over 30 have forgotten the lean times. Welcome to the real world Bammers!

What's hilarious is that they keep saying the Washington coach was their first choice.
If a coach who was just 12-6 and Fresno St. and had a great year because of his QB at Wash. was his first choice then that AD needs to be scrutinized big time

It's the LSU cul-cha we're complaining about. You know, it started with you... 'get mine'. Hell, another couple of seasons, we may have had running backs, defensive backs and wide receivers opting out of bowl games and entire seasons.

Deboers offense is SOOOOO much better than the one Saban was having run.
Saban won on talent, not coaching. The ability for him to recruit unreal talent and horde them is now over.
That's just two. I don't have time to go through all of them, but will try to find more. I do remember several more, though, so when I get home this afternoon, I will find and show them to you. How's that for just a very small taste?
