Seems more likely in the light of this new day that Mack was brought in BECAUSE Sayin was leaving, not vice versa. At the very least he was strongly considering it. There's no way Mack commits last night and Sayin is in the portal at sunrise this morning otherwise.

We sports fans are sort of like amateur stock market investors: we think we have the latest info because we listen to “sources” on the internet.

But in most cases the actual insiders have the info days or even weeks before the “sources” share it.

That’s how members of Congress can routinely and wildly outpace the S&P 500……

DeBoer isn’t an idiot! He was probably talking to top commits and targets within 24 hours of his plane landing in Tuscaloosa. He knew this was coming before he ever called another QB.
